The Garden Party in 2009 was held on 5th July.  More details here.

There are usually three social events held each year, the tea for members after the AGM, in 2008 held on Sunday March 9th.  The Committee provided a selection of cakes and savouries, with tea or coffee.  The raffle was very well supported with some really nice prizes.

The Garden Party in 2008 was on 13th July and we were blessed with some beautiful weather.  There were lots of donations of cat food, taken by one of our supported charities for their rescue cats, the raffle took a lovely sum of money for the welfare fund, the bring and buy had a lot of customers and the tea, as always, was first class.  A few pictures below.

We were unable to hold the Hot Fork Supper in 2008 for various reasons but is fully intended to hold this event in 2009.  Watch this space for more details.

The Hot Fork Supper, in 2007 as a lunch, was held on Sunday 29th April in Otford Village Memorial Hall.  Details were sent to members with AGM papers. It was a very happy occasion, visitors and guests thoroughly enjoying a wonderful spread.  A variety of hot dishes prepared by the Committee, including our famous jacket potatoes, were be followed by a selection of delicious desserts, cheese and biscuits, then tea or coffee.  Wine and soft drinks were also provided for a small contribution.  The raffle raised over £100 for the Welfare Fund. Local cat charities will benefit from donations of tins and packets of cat food generously given by members and guests.
In 2008 we had to cancel this event due to circumstances beyond our control.  We intend to resume the Hot Fork Supper in 2009.  Watch this space for more information.

The Garden Party in 2007 was held on 8th July.  We were extremely lucky with the weather in view of this year's summer.  A few pictures are shown below.  The raffle raised an almost record amount for the welfare fund and people were very generous with the bring and buy, also providing tins and packets of food for cats in rescue.  People food (lots of it) was also provided - see pictures below!  If guests didn't leave needing to go on a diet it wasn't the fault of the KCS!

A few pictures taken at the garden party 2007.
